Our exams
The practice is equipped with digital systems: multislice CT, cone beam CT, ultrasound with elastography, mammography and bone densitometry. All exams are reported by the radiologist.
Digital radiography
Digital musculoskeletal X-rays. Full-length spine and lower-limb imaging.
Dental imaging
3D cone beam CT, dental panoramic X-ray and cephalometry.
3D multislice CT scanner
Multislice CT with three-dimensional reconstructions.
Doppler ultrasound and elastography
Ultrasound, vascular Doppler and tissue elastography.
High-precision thyroid ultrasound
Mapping of thyroid nodules and cervical lymph nodes.
Specialised musculoskeletal ultrasound
Tendons, muscles, ligaments and joints: assessment of sports injuries and joint disorders.
Mammography
Breast X-ray examination for screening and diagnosis.
Bone densitometry (BMD – DXA)
Bone density measurement with body composition analysis (fat mass, lean mass).
Thermal ablation
Non-surgical treatment of thyroid and parathyroid nodules.
Ethanol ablation of thyroid cysts
Treatment of thyroid cysts by ethanol injection under ultrasound guidance.
Sclerotherapy of Morel-Lavallée lesions
Treatment of Morel-Lavallée collections by ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy.
Thermal ablation of thyroid and parathyroid nodules
Thermal ablation is a minimally invasive technique that shrinks a nodule using heat, under ultrasound guidance, without surgery. A prior consultation with ultrasound and lab tests confirms whether it is suitable for you. It is also known as microwave ablation (MWA).
Dr Amrane holds an international certificate in thermal ablation of thyroid nodules from the Department of Interventional Radiology of the China-Japan Friendship Hospital in Beijing, China.
